Double roles in Members

I’m not sure of the circumstances of how it comes about, but it is possible for one user to end up with multiple roles.

This isn’t a big deal, just a little confusing UI wise. It can be alleviated in by making the user one role or another again (this clears all existing roles).

MInorly annoying. Low priority for now.

Cheers,

Walter

Yeah, I notice that when one edits the email address from the site/account/edit page (i guess there will be more stuff to edit here later)

that it makes a new role ‘member’ at the same time as updating the email address

but yeah if you change role in site/members/list it will merge it back to one role

    – this is due to it dropping all roles for a user then making the role it is changing to

    • Assigned user changed from “Walter McGinnis” to “Kieran P”

    Can this still be reproduced?

I've run tests in development and production mode on the latest master branch. I cannot reproduce this behavior. It has probably been fixed (or no longer relevant) with the new basket members list work.

There is however a bug fixed in master that was missed when pulling bug fixes to 1-1-stable (roles added after server is started wouldn't show, like moderator on a fresh install). I've pushed the fix to 1-1-stable.
