How to append

Reported by Jonahbrown | April 2nd, 2009 @ 07:28 PM

Then append the following to the text area you want to transform into a TinyMCE editor. You can change the name by editing the ‘editor_selector’ param in the controller code options.

:class => "mceEditor"

Can you give me an example on using this?

    Hey Jonahbrown,

    In a Rails app, you use Rails helpers like

    <%= form.text_area :description %>

    To follow the step you posted above requires changing the above to

    <%= form.text_area :description, { :class => "mceEditor" } %>

    Note, you added a class called mceEditor, which TinyMCE will use to add the controls to.
